Hannah Montana Star Disney Channel

The multi-hyphenate teen star has signed a book deal to tell the story of her young life, it was announced Tuesday. The memoir by Cyrus, who stars in the Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana,” is planned for release next spring.
Disney said the book will focus particularly on the guidance of Cyrus’ mother, Leticia.

Teen star of Disney’s Hannah Montana Show will host the CMT Awards with her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, Billy Ray is a former country music star from the 90’s who now co-stars on the Hannah Montana show with his daughter Miley. This is what Billy Ray had to say about the honor:
“Miley and I are so excited to be hosting the CMT Music Awards,” Billy Ray said. “We know it will be a fun-filled night with a lot of great music performances.” The pair have pocketed a duet called “Ready, Set, Don’t Go” but it is not confirmed by organizers what piece they will be playing at the Nashville event.

As if Disney’s Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus, is not successful enough, the actress is now taping her own webisode show with her best friend Mandy. The show is called The Miley and Mandy Show. Miley says hse has no interest in following in the footsetps of former teen stars like Lindsay Lohan with drugs or alcohol. Good for you Miley. Miley will be a presenter at tomorrow night’s 80th Academy Awards.

Teen pop music group, the Jonas Brothers are not playboys at all. In fact, the member of the band have informed Details magazine that they are all virgins and saving themselves for marriage. Nick Jonas dated Disney’s Hannah Montana’s Miley Cyrus for a little while last year.

Disney’s Hannah Montana, teen star, Miley Cyrus will be a presenter at this year’s Academy Awards. No word on which category Miley will be presenting for, but I’m sure she will be super cute.
Consumer reports angry with Miley Cyrus for Hannah Montana movie
The Consumer Reports are lashing out at Miely Cyris via OK Magazine. Apparantly, there is a scene in the new Hannah Montana movie with Miely inside a Land Rover, but she is not wearing a seatbelt. This is what the Consumer Reports had to say about the scene in the film.
Consumer Reports writes:
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in about 55 percent of passenger vehicle fatalities in 2006 (the latest data available), the occupants were not wearing seat belts. Even worse, in the 13- to 15-year-old age group, that percentage climbs to 65 percent. Unfortunately, we’re not surprised by these grim statistics because a 2002 survey by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety showed that when parents were dropping teens off at school in the morning, nearly half the teens weren’t using seat belts.
It seems to us that Miley, her father, and Disney had a perfect opportunity to help influence teens and counteract—rather than encourage—this trend. Then again, as Hannah herself sings, “Everybody makes mistakes.” Maybe Hannah, Billy and Disney, will take a tip from the rest of Hannah’s song and get it right next time around: “Nobody’s Perfect! I gotta work it! Again and again ’til I get it right. Nobody’s Perfect!”
Wow! That’s really intense.
Hannah Montana tops weekend box office

Miley Cyrus slayed her competitors this weekend at the box office with Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour 3D movie, The movie only opened on 683 screens but still brought in a whopping 29 million dollars, beating out Eva Longoria’s Over My Dead body film.
These are the weekend box office numbers if you guys care:

3. 27 Dresses - $8.4 million
4. Juno - $7.4 million

Miley Cyrus breaks up with Jonas Brothers Nick

Hannah Montana’s Miley Cyrus has offically confirmed that she is no longer dating Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers. Miley says she is happily single and Nick’s brother Joe says “We are all very single. We are on the road a lot and it’s crazy!”
This is the first time anyone has publicly commented on the rumors of the romance. Guess it’s over before it could really get started.
Miley Cyrus goes on the record about girl and mom who lied for concert tickets

Miley Cyrus gave an interview this morning on Goodmorning America about the recent scandal involving a 6 year old girl and her mom who lied in an essay to win Hannah Montana tickets. The girl’s mother, Priscilla Ceballos and her concocted an essay stating that the girl lost her father in Iraq and that her only dream was to go to a Hannah Montana concert.
When it was found that the essay was a fabrication, the sponsors pulled the tickets. This is what Miley had to say about the ordeal:
“I was really kind of upset. I mean, that’s just not a cool scenario,” says Cyrus. “But it just shows what people will do for a ticket.”
Cyrus also says she is aware of just how desperate fans are for tickets to her concerts, even if it means burning holes in their parents’ wallets.
“People are paying thousands and thousands of dollars to come see one show. So we have to give 120 percent each time,” she says.

Teen busted trying to sabotage Miley Cyrus concert

A 16-year-old boy was arrested last night after the FBI believed he had plans to hijack a plane and crash it into a Hannah Montana concert. Her music is bad, but it’s not THAT bad. He was taken into custody after getting off a Southwest flight in Nashville from Los Angeles. From Nashville he was supposed to fly to Louisiana.
The FBI said, “His stated intent was to hijack the airplane and commit suicide. He did indicate he intended to die in Louisiana. It appears he had a ticket to Louisiana.“
Sources say he had intended to crash the plane into a Hannah Montana concert on Friday night in Lafayette, Louisiana. In his bag they found handcuffs, duct tape and a type of rope or yarn. His plans were to overthrow the plane. He is currently being held on several state charges and could face Federal charges.
The FBI dismissed the Hannah Montana claims, but methinks Disney got to their asses! They don’t want anyone to know that some people are out to destroy their precious Hannah Montana.
He’s going to overthrow the plane with duct tape? He should have just played the Hannah Montana CD on blast. That would have done the trick. The pilot, crew and everybody else on the plane would have called “mercy.”
