George Clooney, Brad Pitt, & Meryl Streep All Get Oscar Nominations While Hugo, The Artist Lead The Pack

By Radar Staff The nominees for the 84th Academy Awards were announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Tuesday in Beverly Hills, and while Meryl Streep , George Clooney , Brad Pitt got their expected nods, it was Martin Scorsese ‘s Hugo that led the pack with 11 nominations, including Best Picture, with The Artist right on its tail with ten nods. Nominees for best picture are: Hugo ; The Artist ; The Descendants ; Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close ; The Help ; Midnight in Paris ; Moneyball ; The Tree of Life ; and War Horse
