Sex and the City’ topped the box office this weekend, making $55.7 million and pushing blockbuster ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,’ into second place, studio estimates showed.
The long-awaited Warner Bros. romantic comedy beat predictions by at least $30 million and studio estimates said theater audiences were comprised of about 85 percent women.
